IP66 refers to camera enclosures that have obtained a rating from the International Electrotechnical Commission’s (IEC) international standard 60529 IP rating board that declares the cameras to:
Offering full protection from dust and solid matter larger than dust
Safe from rain, sprinklers, and powerful water jets (but not submersion)
