Aim and Shoot

Bullet cameras score high in maneuverability. Whereas dome cameras have a fixed field of view based on placement, bullet cameras are able to swivel. Once the camera is mounted it’s as simple as manually aiming it over the area desired to be covered. That convenience plays well if requirements change, if the camera is accidentally bumped off course, or if vandals were to realign the camera.

Protection Where It’s Most Needed

Whether mounted on walls, roof overhangs, soffits, or under eaves, bullet cameras’ wide range of placement makes them ideal for surveillance of high-traffic areas--stairways, alleys, driveways, entryway, front and back doors, and garage entrances. Cameras as Individual Network Devices

IP Bullet Cameras are network cameras (they have their own network addresses that you can visit) that create digital HD (high definition) video directly on the camera then stream that video back to an Network Video Recorder (NVR), web browser, or smartphone.

Power over Ethernet

Our bullet cameras come with a PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector to power the camera for both recording purposes and its entire range of mechanical movement. No additional power cords are required. This greatly reduces installation time and bypasses the need for a professional electrician to run power cables. This simple, single-cable installation between cameras and the NVR we refer to as, “plug-and-play-ready.”

Weather Proof

With applications for both indoor and outdoor use, all bullet cameras from SCW are weather-rated at IP67, meaning full protection from dust, rain, snow, dew, frost, and sprinklers. They can even be submerged for a few minutes. And all are extreme cold rated from as low as -40⁰F to 140⁰F.

The standard white exterior is intentional to dissipate heat. That means our cameras will continue to perform optimally in the hottest summers when other dark-housed cameras fail from heat absorption.

Our IP Bullet Cameras shoot in high definition (HD), at 1080p (Two Megapixels), 4MP, or 4K (8MP). Those numbers are the camera’s resolution with 1080p being the lowest resolution and 4K the highest. The individual specifications listed for each of our bullet cameras will enumerate at what distances subjects can be readily detected, recognized, or identified.

An additional factor of resolution is the camera lens type. Is it a fixed lens? Or a motorized varifocal, allowing it to zoom in on a targeted area? SCW carries varifocal IP Bullet Cameras that have both digital and optical zoom to ensure the highest image quality possible.
